Milan FC Through to SESDO League Quarterfinal

The Tallinding Kunjang-based Nawettan team Milan FC on Wednesday book its place in the 2016 SESDO league quarterfinal after they eliminated their arch rivals Milan Rossenerri in the league competition. They secured a 5-4 post-match penalty shootout win aftre regulation time ended in a goalless stalemate.

As a result, Milan Rossenerri’s interest in this year’s Serrekunda Nawettan is over having been knocked out of both the league and knockout competition while Milan is competing in both tournaments.

These two Milans are currently having a very strong rivalry between them, but in most of their meetings, Milan FC of Tallinding normally proves to be the stronger side.

Meanwhile in the late encounter on Wednesday, the game between Future Stars FC and Bantaba FC was called off due to bad weather conditions. They were tied 5-5 on post-match penalties having also drawn 2-2 in regulation time.

This encounter between the Willingara-based Future Stars FC and Fajikunda’s Bantaba FC was a very difficult encounter as both teams displayed very wonderful performances during the game.

The referee postponed the encounter and the SESDO Committee will have to decide when to replay the game.

Both teams are competing in the league and knockout trophies as Bantaba FC of Fajikunda are yet to taste defeat. They have conceded two goals so far in both tournaments, while Future Stars FC were defeated once in their second group stage match.
