Gambian international Modou Barrow is part of the invited foreign based players for the Scorpions’ final AfCon Qualifier match to Cameroon in September.
The Premier League star, amongst a few other Gambian foreign based players in Europe and Asia, whose invitation was sent early last week through his club Swansea City FC, who have confirmed receipt of the correspondence and thus Barrow is expected to join the home based squad shortly before the team leaves for Cameroon.
Other notable invitees include Baboucarr Trawally (China ), Buba Sanneh ( Denmark ), Lamin Jallow ( Italy ), Bakary Njie (Bulgaria), Assan Ceesay ( Switzerland ), Hamza Barry (Israel), Tijan Jaiteh (Finland), Omar Colley (Genk), Mustapha Caroyol (England).
The invited players are expected to assemble in Banjul latest Monday, 29th August en bound for Cameroon.
The Scorpions play the Indomitable Lions on Saturday, September 3rd, in Limbe.
