Myk Jayda, one of Gambia’s finest rappers is set for the second version of the ‘Some Ran, Some Stayed’ concert. This is due to popular demand by fans. However, the event will serve as an avenue to reveal some of his new songs as well as enable fans to get use to his new video called ‘victory’.
The first version of the ‘Some Ran, Some Stayed’ was held on June 4th 2016, where Myk Jayda was crowned as the Gam Rap King. The event was described by many as a great success as it was attended by fans and well wishersall over.
According to him, this upcoming event is in response to high demand by fans in relation to the second version of ‘Some Ran, Some Stayed’ and that it is also meant to promote his fan based dubbed ‘Flame Jayders’.
“All the songs are recorded at Negrophil Music which is of high standard. The mean reason for the concert is to honour people who have done a lot in the advancement of Gambian music and to promote the legacy made in the success of the country’s music sector.” he added.
He urged his fans to expect the best from him, saying he is set to rock the stage more that what he did during the first concert.
Supporting acts on the night includes; Silky Crisis, ST, Peotic X, Nobles, Og Log, Sophia, Tanga Chama and Binzy.
