Two communities in Niani, Kuntaur Fulla Kunda and Kuntar Wharftown, have renewed their loyalty to President Jammeh. The declaration was made during meetings held in the two Central River Region settlements on Wednesday, November 2.
Speaker after speaker buttressed the mammoth developments registered by the APRC government under the dynamic leadership of President Jammeh and as a result, they promised to return gratitude.
Addressing party militants, the district Chief Alhaji Pierre Bah spoke on the pace of Gambia’s development growth since 22nd July 1994 to date, adding that the leadership of the country has the commitment to develop the country in all sectors. He posited that the quality road networks across the country and all other achievements are exceptional of President Jammeh’s excellent administration.
“This has immensely boosted the communication flow of people and resources within the country,” he said. Chief Bah added that these proud achievements are having a positive impact on the socio-economic development of the country, noting that they are a clear manifestation of President Janmeh’s quality leadership. He finally urged his people to cement their support for President Jammeh and the APRC party.
The alkalo of Kuntaur Fulla Kunda, Alhaji Sulayman Jawo and a member of the council of elders, Alhaji Bambo Jaiteh both said the rural electrification project is one project out of thousands registered by President Jammeh’s administration, noting that their communities have benefited from the projects. They called on their people to strengthen their unflinching support for President Jammeh and the APRC party.
They noted that there are several villages benefiting from the extension of the rural electrification project, saying that this will motivate the young people to stay within their villages and give a helping hand at the farms. They further asserted that the project has transcended the livelihood of the rural people.
Speaking on behalf of the women, Yai Jaiteh and Anty Rohey Ceesay both commended President Jammeh for providing developments to the rural people. They assured their unflinching support for President Jammeh and the APRC party. They asserted that politics is all about development and President Jammeh has provided them with mammoth development in the province, ranging from agricultural projects, education, infrastructure, health, road construction and clean drinking water, just to name a few.
Among several other speakers included Aja Yama Cham, Kemmeh Janneh and Pa Musa Sanyang who all said President Jammeh has attach strong conviction to the development of women and youth, which they said is being manifested by the programmes and strategies created for them under his leadership. They called on both the women and the young people to make best use of the opportunities accorded to them.
