Justice E O Dada of the High Court in Banjul has failed to deliver judgment in the five counts criminal trial of Ousman Badjie, Gambia’s former Works and Transport minister and former Ambassador to France.
The judge was expected to deliver judgement in the case yesterday but according to sources, he adjourned it to tomorrow, Thursday. The reason for the adjournment of the judgement was not disclosed.
The former diplomat was arraigned on the 15th December 2014 on five-count criminal offences; ranging from multiple charges of economic crime and neglect of official duty. He had denied all the charges.
