‘Sedition’ Case Fails to Proceed

The alleged sedition case involving Ebrima Keita, Musa Fofana and Alasana Jallow has failed to proceed yesterday at the Bundung Magistrate Court due to the absence of the presiding Magistrate Momodou S M Jallow.

The prosecution was expected to call a second witness in the Voir Dire (a preliminary examination of a witness).

During last sitting, the first prosecution witness Mbaye Bojang told the court under cross-examination that he was not present when the statement was taken from the accused persons and he doesn’t know under which circumstance it was taken.

The case is adjournment to 30th August, 2016.
