SUNA ICT Graduates 22

The SUNA Institute of Science and Technology recently held a graduation ceremony for 22 students at a ceremony held at the institute’s complex in Brikama.

SUNA Institute of Science and Technology is a national Training Authority-recognised Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) and professional training institute. The institute provides life-changing ICT education and job opportunities for learners with the aim to ensure they realise their fullest potentials using their products and services.

Speaking at the event, the guest speaker on the occasion, Adama Jallow, from the Social Security and Housing Finance Corporation (SSHFC), underscored the importance of learning computer especially at this day and age.

suna-ict-2“It is time for Gambians to stop being third-party app users. We should be creative enough to programme apps by ourselves.” Jallow noted.

Also speaking at the ceremony, the chief executive officer of SUNA, Alagie Jallow, expressed delight for witnessing yet another important day in the history of the institution.

He noted that it was difficult when they  started the institution, but that his passion for ICT keeps him moving.

While advising the graduating class to always put into practice what they have learnt, Jallow thanked parents for the trust and confidence in sending their children to the institution.
