Well, it’s been a busy weekend as expected; the Ramadan is over and human beings are back to their usual ways- Hahaaaa, you people never seize to amaze me. The ST Salibo Programme was the real bomb! Of course I have no regrets leaving the Senegambia strip and flying all the way to Brikama. The crowd was huge and the performances were dope!
Now that’s the problem, though, there was too much ‘dope’ at the show. I was dancing on a nearby tree when Brikama Sensation ENC hit the stage but I almost fell from the tree due to the huge fumes of ganja smoke rising from the dance floor up in the air. ‘Wai boys-yi nyor muna pone…’ Sometimes I wonder if smoking is really illegal you know. Our boys really need to cool down the tempo on this ganja thing!
As for me, next time I attend any pop music show in this country am going to wear a mask to protect myself from the smoke. Chei!
And by the way the weekend was really spicy up-country, as our colleagues from the State broadcaster rolled their “Development Caravan country-wide” kudos to GRTS!
But really I think GRTS is trying to compete Observer but let them chill nak! They can’t compete my boys. We at Observer have some massive transformational products coming up this summer in addition to our news app that is already live at google play store.
Good move GRTS, but really Observer is the real deal and even me, am about to change my style on this paper; so watch out for a spicy summer from the nation’s leading media outfit, Dr. Owl’s very own newspaper, The Daily Observer…
