Good morning Gambian people. I salute you again as you continue celebrations of the 22nd anniversary of the July 22nd Revolution.
Really the enjoyment is classic. Even me Dr. Owl, am having a great time. I was on the tallest tree at the Stadium when the second State Banquet kicked off there. The entertainment was really classic and the high point for me was the performance by Jalex. The guy has really returned to the roots by re-embracing the Afro-Manding style. Guess he learnt his lesson from his “Rokouch” flop. Welcome back the real Jalex; we missed this originality.
And speaking of welcoming, are you aware of the current trending beefs between Gambian music enthusiasts on social media. Hahaaa… Gambia nice! Let Team Gee and the Brikama boysolu chill mein.
What’s the point when we all know that Bai Babou is the real deal right now? Anyway, forward with The Gambia; ‘cha kow; cha kanam!’ Guess the whole thing is a great story. We have really come very far in music. So to each their own; no need for petty fights. Let’s Roll forward together….
By the way, Nawettan fever is high. Our towns are all abuzz with the football chat. Let the game begin; but hmmm… These fans and their dress sense? Sometimes I wonder whether Nawettan is all about football alone! But why the doubt when all of a sudden we are now witnessing Miss Nawettan Beauty pageants. Gambia nice…
