Galleh Manda Community Renews Loyalty to President Jammeh

The community of Galleh Manda last Thursday, August 4, called on the Governor of the Central River Region, Alhaji Omar Khan to express their appreciation to President Jammeh for providing the village with electricity.

The village is among the 44 communities that recently benefited from the Rural Electrification Expansion Project inaugurated by the Government of The Gambia.

The Governor spoke extensively on the numerous developments registered by the Jammeh administration in the past 22 years. He further urged them to remain united behind President Jammeh and the APRC party. He reiterated that politics is all about development and President Jammeh is conscious of the needs and aspirations of Gambian people.

The Deputy Governor of the region, Alhaji Malang Saibo Camara, hailed the community of Galleh Manda for their loyalty to President Jammeh and urged them to further strengthen their support for him, noting that the President has a good vision for the country. He advised them to further cement their unity and cooperation behind President Jammeh and the APRC party.

The Women’s Mobiliser of the area, Aja Fatou Cham, reaffirmed the community’s unflinching support to President Jammeh and the APRC party. She stated that since the advent of the July 22 Revolution, the rural people started to benefit from the national cake. She further stressed that under the dynamic leadership of President Jammeh, Galleh Manda village has a school, clean drinking water and other social amenities.

The Ward Councillor, who doubles as the vice chairperson of the Janjangbureh Area Council, Alhagie Nenneh Mbye, commended President Jammeh for the development projects provided to the village by the Jammeh administration. He assured the Governor of their everlasting support to President Jammeh and the APRC party, saying that the community has benefited from many government projects which they never expected to get.
