The Tallinding Kunjang based team, Milan FC on Tuesday book place to the knockout final of the Serekunda East Nawettan following their impressive lone goal win over the Babucarr Jallow Academy (B.J Academy), in a game played at the Serekunda East Mini-Stadium.
Milan FC has been very impressive since the start of the Serekunda East Nawettan this season, winning all games and drew only a single game so far.
Foday Manneh’s fantastic finished in the 26th minute was enough to secure a place in the final of this year’s SESDO Knockout final.
Meanwhile, yesterday’s (Wednesday) encounter between Future Stars FC and Medina FC will determine who will play with Milan FC in this year’s Knockout Final (a date to be decided by the committee).
Milan FC who are in both competitions of the Serekunda East Nawettan will also play Maccassa FC on Saturday in the semifinal stage of the League competition.
Speaking in an interview with Observer Sports shortly after the game, the head coach of Milan FC, Ebrahim Kalil Dumbuya, expressed delight for the brilliant performances shown by his players, noting that this year his team is completely change because he gave chance to the young players.
He further added that the success behind his team this season is the tactical organization and the re-enforcement of their midfielders and strikers. His dream is to play in both finals of the nawettan.
Coach Dumbuya finally urged his fan to maintained maximum discipline before, during and after all future games.
