Congratulatory Message on the Occasion of July 22nd Celebration

As we celebrate July 22nd Revolution, I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation on behalf of Sabi Ward and my humble self as the councilor to His Excellency Sheikh Professor Dr. Alhaji Yahya Jammeh Bablili Mansa for massive development in our region.

The Revolution of the people, by the people and for the people, continues to bring changes and development to the doorstep of every Gambian irrespective of your colour, tribe and religion. The July 22nd Revolution is a moment to rekindle our hopes and aspirations for further development of this country. We believed in President Jammeh, a man with the best leadership qualities, a man that came to save us from underdevelopment of this great land. This significant transition in the history of our country worth celebration by any genuine Gambian who has progress of motherland at heart

Your Excellency Mr President, Babili Mansa, your continues leadership in this country is not a surprise to the people of my region because majority has recognised through your good works and love for humanity as recently manifested in your visits to Basse by giving a brand new ambulance, medicines and medical personnel, one million dalasi to Sabi Health Centre and recent inauguration of Ebola Outpost Clinic in Sabi. They have seen the potentials in leading Gambia to higher height.

In general, these achievements are clearly shown by our development indicators in the areas of peace and security. Health, Education, infrastructure, Gender and youth empowerment just to name a few there, as we go to the polls in December our renewed commitment and consolidation of the support remain the same for further progress.

Furthermore, Your Excellency Babili Mansa, we the people of Sabi Ward are highly behind your transformation agenda beyond Vision 2020. You are an exemplary leader and a catalyst in national development and must be cherished by true Gambians.

To end it all, our unwavering support and loyalty remain the same, while praying for Your Excellency and the First Family continuous guidance, long live and abundance blessing from Allah.

Yours Faithfully

Hon. Yuba Jawara

Sabi Ward Councillor

Congratulatory Message

I am directed by the National Federation of “Ajamat” and our President Alh Salif Jammeh (Ayi) of Bundung Kanifing Municipal Council, to write to you a congratulatory message.

I seize this opportunity to warmly congratulate you for the 22 July celebration that you witnessed in Good health.

The era spelt a great day which shall remain evergreen in the garden of the memories of the Gambian people.

The revolution awakened Gambians from years on end of slumber, laziness, ignorance and lacking the motivational ability to take up any challenging enterprise. You made it abundantly lucid that the dawn of the new era shall be full of opportunities and the sky is the limit for Gambians to exploit their potentials in all endeavors.

Sir, as one of the vanguards of July 22nd Revolution, I am extremely proud and I can speak boastfully in any platform about the social amenities provided by your government Viz hospitals, major and minor health centers, health posts and to crown it all, introduction of University Education where Gambian students pursue doctor degree in medicine in their home soil. Also in the health sector, medicine is made available in abundance in all health facilities around the country. Services at health institutions are made affordable and it is the cheapest in the sub region.

In Education, numerous senior secondary, upper basic and primary schools are built around the country. The University of The Gambia graduated many students in all academic disciplines. Building human resource base of any country through education is obviously tantamount to development.

The lifeline of the country is agriculture which since day one of the revolution you appeal fervently for people to return back to the land to be self reliant and put hunger at bay. Your statements were not mere pronouncements but you took the lead to practicalise them.

I am totally convinced that vision 2016 sentiment is well inculcated in the minds of The Gambians and God willing The Gambia shall be self sufficient in rice and other cereal production.

You have intervened in all sectors of our economy by providing affordable transport services, encouraging self reliance in all endeavors, and doors of opportunities are opened for Gambians to excel at all levels. Many people benefitted from your personal traditional treatment and also medical treatments abroad. Scholarships are provided for Gambians to pursue courses in The Gambia and Abroad.

In infrastructure, all major roads, bridges are built that makes communication accessible to all parts of the country. Electricity and water are available in all parts of the country.

Sir, Gambians shall ever remain grateful and be rest assured that no nonentity who provides nothing for the nation can be taken seriously in their empty political rhetoric by the Gambian Electorates, come December Election you shall win with overwhelming majority.

I wish you all the best in your daily undertakings, good health, prosperity, long life. God shall give you the strength and power to rule this country for ever.

Ousman Sulu Sanneh

Assistant Secretary

Letter of Solidarity and Condemnation on the Arson Attack on the Building of the APRC Political Bureau

Following the awful arson attack on the APRC’s Political Bureau by a group of callous and dreaded bandits who lacked conscience and moral characters, but driven with hatred, bigotry and misogynist desires, I and my family stand in solidarity with you and members of the APRC Political Party, Party sympathisers and supporters, friends and citizens of The Gambia in condemning such dastardly act. This kind of action can be equated to a hate crime, a political suicide and is an affront to our democracy which contravenes the very essential values and the fundamental precepts of civility, discipline, love, respect and patriotism, we are known for as Gambians in principles and actions.

By the foregoing, please allow me and my family, Your Excellency, to thank you for your excellent visionary leadership and for steering the affairs of our great country (The Gambia) in the path of unrivalled socio-economic development, growth and sustainable transformation beyond human imagination and expectations, since July 1994 to date. We are always grateful to you for demonstrating such an inestimably love of a country. In addition, allow me and my family to wish you an unquestionable landslide victory in the forthcoming Presidential Elections, slated in December 2016.

In solidarity on the unfortunate incident, please, accept my best wishes and the assurances of my highest consideration.

Abdoulie K. M. Jallow

Former Principal Assistant Secretary – MoLRG

As we are fully aware of the 22nd celebration of the July 22nd Revolution, since the year 1994 takeover, we have seen numerous developments in The Gambia in all sectors and across the country, both in agriculture, education, health, fisheries, work department and other unknown sectors to us.

The Mansuwankas are rallying behind you, and fully appreciate your development. Again Your Excellency, upgrading some health centres in The Gambia eg. Basse Health Centre to Major Hospital, Jareng Health Centre, Soma Health Centre, Janangbureh Health Centre, Kuntaur Health Centre etc.

Your Excellency God has seen and knows your intention for The Gambia and all Gambian people. Sir may Allah be with you and protect your and your entire family. May Allah grant you success in all your endeavors.
