No Sign of Stopping for Gee



Less than a week after his thunderous comeback gig held at the Pencha Mi Hall, Gambia’s finest rap star, Gee has shown no sign of stopping after releasing an explosive music video titled “Roll”, featuring one of Senegal’s hottest rappers, Dip Doundou Guiss.

Dip was a special guest artiste from the neighbouring country, Senegal at Gee’s ComeBack Concert, which was hash tagged #TheKingIsBack.

The new music video, “Roll”, produced by Senegalese Blackaneze Films courtesy of Mo Shady, was shot and edited in Dakar, Senegal, and is currently enjoying over seventeen thousand views in less than two days. Blackaneze Films shot all of Dip’s videos, ranging from “Potolamp”, “Deug Deug”, “Cicratice”, to “Youssou Ndour”.

During an exclusive interview with Observer Light, Gee, who is currently in Dakar, disclosed that he arrived in Dakar last Monday, two days after his comeback gig at the Pencha Mi Hall and has recently performed at a gig in Dakar, Stade Iba Mar Diop as Senegalese rapper, Dip’s guest artiste on the night. The show was aired live on 2stv, a Senegalese TV Station in Dakar.

Gee further revealed that he is currently shooting one of his latest single’s music video, “Lendeym” and as well got lot of work in the pipeline.

“Like I said, it’s just the beginning, #TheKingIsBack,” Gee told Observer Light.
