All roads lead to the Serrekunda West Mini-Stadium tomorrow (Friday) where 2015 league winners Samkum of Bijilo FC and last year’s knockout winners Anfield FC of Kanifing will battle it out for the late Alkalo Muhammed Omar Faal Super Cup final.

In what promises to be a mouth-watering final, the Serrekunda West Sports Development Organisation (SWESDO) said it is looking forward to a successful final.

Bai Ndongo Drammeh, Public Relations Officer of the Committee said the idea to name the trophy after the late Latrikunda German Alkalo, is meant to remember him for all that he has done for humanity.

Drammeh, therefore, called on players, fans and coaches to maintain peaceful conduct before, during and after the final, stressing that the rules and regulation will not to be comprised.

According to him, he is looking forward to a record turnout when the two champions meet tomorrow.

Reacting to the news, Pa Omar Faal, the eldest son of the late Alkalo thanked the SK West Sports Committee for naming the Super Cup after his late father. He described his late dad as a great man who has done a lot for humanity.
