Six games have been played so far in the season.

Harlem FC beat Sanchaba United 2-0 in the opening game of the Nawettan in a well attended game.

London United beat Villas FC 2-1, in the second encounter of the tournament, followed by a 1-1 draw between Sateba United and World Eleven FC.

Si Pah Bi FC, being one of the biggest teams in Lamin football, also made a fine start after beating Prison FC by a lone goal to nil; Gambinos  and Sotokoto drew 1-1 after regulation time. Last year’s league winners Jattas FC also defeated the Veterans 1-0.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Observer Sports, Sanna Manneh the assistant coach of Jattas expressed delight with the win. According to him, his team played a good game and had a good result, although they were expecting more goals but unfortunately managed to score only one.
